There is a history of Bigfoot sightings around Jefferson Texas. The movie "Creature From Black Lake" was filmed near and around Caddo Lake, 15 miles from Jefferson, TX. Fouke, AR, home of the Fouke Monster and setting for the movie "Legend of Boggy Creek", is only an hour away. We have received several reports of Bigfoot sightings in this general area.
