Welcome Waco High School Alumni

Going Forward

Welcome to alumni and friends of Waco High School. Most of us are still basking in the afterglow of a totally wonderful reunion. Most everyone agreed that ten years is just too long a time not to see each other. So we're keeping 2013 open for our 45th reunion.

Please visit the NEWS page for post-reunion information. On Saturday (Oct 4th), Billy Amelunke was memorialized in services held at Anderson-Clayton Funeral Home in Terrell. Tim Mitchell and Bob Cozby attended for our class. Many pictures and mementos from Billy's time at Waco High and his reunion photos were on display as well as pictures and mementos from 40 years of service to his family and community. The tributes that many of you added to our guestbook, were also shared with the visitors at the service. The Reunion committee had a plant delivered to the funeral home on behalf of the entire class. Linda was very grateful for all the outpouring of love for Billy at the reunion, in our guestbook, and in the weeks that followed.

Please, stay in touch. If there is some news in your life that your friends from Waco High should know, please forward that to WHS68@howdyyall.com, so that it can be included on the News page.

Currently, plans are in the works to add a "members" (login) area to this website. That will enable us to share information confidentially to just those who we can trust, classmates, friends, and families. A bulletin board where you can leave messages, and reply to messages will hopefully be online in time for Christmas. Also, your login will grant you access to the class online directory, and allow you to add/edit your own information

Please join us from time to time in the chat room, guestbook, email, and soon the message board. If our reunion had a message it was that friends, even friends from Junior High, are never forgotten. 40 years ago, each of you touched someone else's life in ways you never knew. Our reunion proved that. Stay in touch with one another. Each of you is a blessing to someone.
