Waco High School Class of '68, Fiftieth Year Reunion

When we were in high school, time seemed to move slowly and we thought graduation would never get here. Now, we have lived through some ups and downs and turned a few corners, and it's been almost 50 years since we walked that stage. Marriage, parenthood, college, technical school, military service, politics, proprietorship - so many paths we followed - all with an intent to take the world by storm - or at least make a good life for ourselves. Well, we have done that, and now it's time to reunite and revisit old friendships and enjoy what made our class and friendships so special. If you have never been to a reunion, this is the time!

Since this is a "Golden" reunion, your planners thought we should make this one especially memorable. We have selected venues that are impressive and unique to Waco in hopes that you will enjoy every moment of the weekend. These are the plans that have been made and we hope to see you at one or all of them.

It is located on the top floor of McLane Stadium and has the most spectacular views of the football stadium, Brazos River, the lighted Brazos River bridges over I-35, and downtown Waco. It is quite honestly the best view in town!!

There is a dedicated entrance to the Bear Club on the Interstate side of the Stadium, parking lot 1. There is minimal walking for anyone with limited mobility.

The Hilton Hotel will offer a special room rate of $159 plus tax per night for alumni staying for the reunion. This special rate is available until April 4, 2018. The hotel is located across the street from the historic Suspension Bridge, amongst many restaurants, shopping, historic Austin Avenue, Freedom Fountain, and free trolley stop to the Magnolia Silos. There are two covered drives/entrances for easy access for anyone with limited mobility. You may use the link below to book or call the Hilton Waco directly. COSTS

This year, we are hoping to entice you to make your registration early. For those of you who plan to come to both nights, we are offering an EARLY BIRD SPECIAL!! And don't we all just love a Special!! The cost will be reduced if you register and pay by February 28, 2018. We know it's early, but we are doing this because the committee is obligated to pay the majority of the Saturday night venue and catering costs well before the reunion. And, quite honestly, we would like to avoid digging deep into our own pockets to pay. If you reserve and pay after March 1, the cost will be higher. All registrations must be received before April 20, 2018.

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL FOR RESERVATIONS RECEIVED BY 2/28/18.

 Friday and Saturday$75.00 per person

FOR ALL OTHER RESERVATIONS

Friday and Saturday $85.00 per person - received after 3/1/18
 Friday Only $35.00 per person
 Saturday Only $50.00 per person

The golf tournament is additional for those who choose to participate and must be paid at the time of the event. The cost will be $31 and includes cart, green fee and tax.

In the future, we will use email as much as possible to save on additional mailings and to keep you updated. Although the website may not working, our email is still available for contacting the committee. If your contact information or email address has changed, please let us know. If you haven't recently received emails from us, we may not have your email address - love to have it. Our email address is --
