Pizza, Sandwiches and Planning

The 40 Year Reunion Committee Feb 26th - This evening, we launched our new FACEBOOK GROUP page. To view the page, you'd need to be a member of Facebook, (and it's free) but once you're a member, you can upload photos, stories, videos, and more! Check it out!

Feb 24th - Over a Dozen members of the Class of '69 met at the Webguy's house, for fun, food, and planning. Two web administrators were trained on the website (Pam and Lyn), and everyone received a list of classmates to contact. Pam (Gardner) Dunlap brought two tubs of papers to go through include a huge pile of "Wacoans" which were left behind in the old school building. Pictures were scanned, reports printed, data updated, and stories swapped. It was like a mini-reunion, and everyone had a great time. Our next meeting will be Thursday, March 5th and Lyn and Johnny's house.

Alumni Response

Feb 4th - Last weekend we launched our Reunion Website, and already have had a great response. Excitement is building for our 40th Year (can you believe it?) reunion. A broadcast message was sent out to all classmates where we had an e-mail address. If you didn't get the initial broadcast (announcing the reunion and website), we may not have a good e-mail address for you. Simply click CONTACT US above, and let us know your address/phone/e-mail address and you'll be on our e-mail list. This month and next, we will be trying to contact everyone we can, so unless you've already contacted us, expect a call from someone on the Reunion Committee. There's a lot of work ahead between now and June, so Thanks to everyone on the committee working to make this reunion the Best Reunion Ever!!!

Planning Begins

Jan 27th - The first meeting of the Class of '69 Reunion Committee was held at Papa Rollos on Valley Mills Drive today. Attending were Pam (Gardner) Dunlap, Johnny and Lyn (Petit) Tabor, Tim Stewart, Jerry and Linda (Spruiell) Rogers. Tentative arrangements have already been made for the location, and the dates have been set. Names of alumni, along with addresses and phones will be collected and entered into the reunion database, and within just a few weeks, telephone calls should be going out in an attempt to locate everyone.
