GUESTBOOK (Public):,I too, thank every one for all of the time and effort put forth putting together the reunion. I didn't quite know what to expect as this was my first reunion. I was pleasantly surprised. I had a great time. I didn't expect to recognize any one and was surprised at how many of my old classmates I remembered and those that remembered me. For me the visit to the old building was like a wierd flash-back. For just an hour I was no longer a fat old man, but was 18, thin and with a full head of hair. I could almost hear the voices of our past echoing in the halls. I could hear the lockers slamming and the sounds of so many feet hurrying to get to class. How different our lives turned out from those days we spent in those halls and classes. It was a wonderful thing to be able to shake hands and give hugs to dear old friends. Y'all were great. Hey there everyone. I cannot believe it has been 40 years since we all graced the halls of Waco High School. I only found out about this reunion this past Saturday night while attending the 40th reunion of my wife's China Springs High School class. I was reacquainted with Lee McCleary and Linda Mitchell at this event. Unfortunately we are scheduled to attend another function in Dallas on Saturday night however my thoughts will be of all of you and the fun times that we had during our tenure at Waco High. Beverly and I have been married for 38 years and have two daughters who live in the Dallas Metroplex. I am currently working in Austin but living in Grand Prairie ... have been commuting for almost 2 years ... long story. Hope that everyone reading this is having a happy and prosperous life. Have a nice time at the reunion.

GUESTBOOK (Public):,I am so glad you found me. I look forward to see everybody again. I have been married for 29 years to my wonderful, loving wife, Pam. God blessed us with a great son, Jeremy, who just turned 24 and attends University of Texas at Arlington. We also have a four legged son named Sparky, a four pound Papillion. We spent eight years on an adventure in Colorado, but now we are back home in Texas. I am in management with Big Lots and Pam teaches first grade.

Can't believe its our 40th Reunion, never have been able to come to any of them.I came back home when I left the Military in 1987. Worked for the Waco VAMC for 23 years and had to retire on disibility-don't drive at night or outside of waco anymore-not sure if I can come but wish everyone well.

I am excited about the reunion. The last one I was able to go to was #10. Would love to move back to TX, but at least I can visit for a while. Still married to John McElroy after 40 yrs. Was sad to see the classmates that have died. I am looking forward to a great time. I am going to try to get there to tour the one and only, the greatest, the original, Waco High School.

Thank you Charlie Turner for contacting me about the reunion. I am still VERY shy, though I am trying more and more to get out of my comfort zone. I am SOOOOO excited to tour Waco High after its renovation and look forward to seeing everyone at the Civil Center. Looking through the list of names certainly brought back lots of memories from a LONG time ago.

I have been married to Brenda for 35 years and we have one son, Brad. We met our senior year in high school (she was at Richfield but has come over to our side.) I work for a local company that is family owned and still serve as Hewitt's Mayor. Brenda has the luxury of retirement and enjoys every moment. Our son has a book about Waco early history that will be released on September 1,2010. I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion July 17.

I thought I would be able to get to this reunion. But, alas, I will not be there as my wife will be finishing radiation therapy for breast cancer and will not feel like traveling. We have been married for 26 years and have a wonderful 25 year old daughter, Jessica, who will soon be moving to Lewisville. I have been teaching US History at Mount Pleasant High School for the last 20 years. I am also the debate coach. I never would have thought while I was at Waco High that I would be a high school teacher. It is fun and I enjoy my work. I hope everyone has a good time and just to let you know education never stops, David North finally graduated from Baylor in May.
