COVINA, CA  (1976)   On this date in 1976, future Texas Rangers All-Star, Michael Young was born in Covina, California. In his more than a decade with the Texas Rangers, Michael has maintained an on-base percentage of over .700, and has helped lead the Rangers to the World Series in 2010, and 2011.
   Michael's leadership of the team, in batting, fielding, in the locker room, and with fans, has earn him the honor of being known as The Face of the Rangers.
