In 1910, steel cars replaced the original wooden cars. In 1926, a Hudson 4-6-4 streamlined steam engine took over the route. Streamlined in 1938. Diesel replaced steam in 1945. Upgraded on September 15, 1948, with lighter weight equipment. Coaches were added for the first time in 1958. Club Car: Barber Bath, Valet, Stock Reports, Sporting Events, Magazines, Newspapers, Stationary. Observation Car: Maid, Stenograph, Telephones (at terminals), Ladies Lounge and Bath, Magazines, Newspapers, Stationary.
